How I work:

The first step in getting started includes a one hour complimentary session for me to fully assess that we are a fit through understanding fully where you are and where you wish to go.  I will review the product, the challenges the business is facing, a high level look at your goals and the basic business model.

If we decide we are a fit, then the real work will begin.  The first step will be for you to fill out an in-depth questionnaire that will allow me to fully understand what is at play within your business.

Phase I:  Two-day strategic planning session:

Day one: Discovery and goal setting:

  1. Understanding the product
  2. Manufacturing
  3. Investments in the production
  4. Pricing
  5. Competition
  6. Meeting staff and understanding their roles
  7. Analysis of current operational plan including meeting with operations manager (if one exists)
  8. Sales marketing and PR
  9. Meeting with the team and understanding their operations and strategies
  10. Infrastructure and systems
  11. Financials and meeting with the finance team (if one exists)

Day two: Long-term planning

  1. Outline the short-term and long term goals of the business
  2. Setting Short term-mid term and long term business strategies and plans
  3. Sales /marketing and PR strategy to be worked
  4. Product details worked on.

Phase II: 6 months of follow up consultation

In the next phase of work we work together on launching the business and taking you to market.

The importance of this phase of work is around shortening the learning curve as well as providing me the opportunity to open doors that may be important for your business.

Fee schedule: 

After an initial complimentary consultation, a customized proposal will be submitted appropriate to where you are  based on both the scope of the work and the stage and budget of the business.
